The 6 Best Christiania & Christianshavn Walking Tours

Across the harbour the canals go quiet and the houseboats take over. These are the best walks through Christianshavn and Freetown Christiania, the self-governing quarter, with what each route covers, how long it takes and which climb the Church of Our Saviour's spiral spire. A side of Copenhagen best walked with a local.

“Roger was a fantastic tour guide. He was fun, knowledgeable and customized our tour to our preferences. We covered most of Copenhagen in the time spent with him and he was able to give us a great overview of the city. We only had a short amount of time in Denmark but we left feeling like our time on the tour was time well spent! They also gave us a list of place to eat, drink and explore. We highly recommend Politically Incorrect Tours, but specifically Roger!”

“This is a brilliant way to explore Christiana town, it's basically a mini walking tour with a little story behind it with some puzzles along the way. There's certain areas you can't take photos and you must be respectful to the people that live there. This activity advitises 1hr to 90ish minutes.... we took 3 hours as we kept getting distracted, shopping round the little flea markets and taking everything in! So allow plenty of time to make the most of it, this was the highlight of our weekend in Copenhagen. Highly recommend”
